We love a classic shirt with a little something unexpected, and this one from Italian label ottod'Ame gets the balance just right.
Made from 100% cotton, it has fine pinstripes, a neat polo collar and long sleeves, with a clever drawstring detail at the front that ties at the back whilst allowing the front to sit on the natural waistline, while the longer back keeps the traditional proportions of a classic shirt.
It’s a clever mix of classic Italian tailoring and a more modern, slightly quirky attitude. From the back, it looks like a beautifully simple striped shirt, then you turn around and there’s the unexpected detail.
The cotton is sourced from Italian textile mills, which is very much part of what we love about ottod'Ame. There’s a real focus on quality and fabric, but the clothes never feel too serious.
